The WASSENBURG® WD4200 is a single bay endoscope washer-disinfector with smart technology that ensures controlled and effective cleaning and disinfection of flexible endoscopes. Through its compact design and ease of use the WASSENBURG® WD4200 is a valuable asset to the endoscopy environment.
Controlled cleaning and disinfection
The WASSENBURG® WD4200 enables maximum contact of all parts of the endoscope with the process chemicals and full immersion of the endoscope insertion tube for optimum cleaning and disinfection. The smart liquid flow control system monitors all individual and interconnected endoscope channels for connection, flow, pressure and blockage.
Not only the channels, but also the condition of the endoscope itself is monitored through EndoXpert. The integrated smart technology of EndoXpert provides information on the condition of each endoscope for optimum safety.
Smooth workflow through EndoXpert
With EndoXpert integrated smart technology the WASSENBURG® WD4200 provides essential information to the operator to minimise interruption or downtime during reprocessing:
Preventive signals regarding the status of the EndoHigh® process chemicals, the EndoCap bacterial filter and when a service interval needs to be scheduled.
Saving time with the flexibility to pre-programme self-disinfection outside operational hours.
Minimal user intervention required during a process through smart error handling.
Designed for efficiency
Through its compact design, the WASSENBURG® WD4200 provides flexibility for all sizes of hospital locations, with easy upscaling to extend capacity. The high throughput of 3 endoscopes per hour* makes the WASSENBURG® WD4200 an efficient solution.
Our EndoHigh® process chemicals – consisting of a detergent in combination with a disinfectant based on peracetic acid (PAA) – have been exclusively developed for the WASSENBURG® endoscope washer-disinfectors to provide an excellent and safe process performance.
* Based on a WASH-DIS programme with channel-less endoscopes, depending on basin filling time and the water supply temperature.
Compliancy
The WASSENBURG® WD4200 is fully compliant to ISO 15883 and contains a process verification system that is fully independent from the process controller. All WASSENBURG® washer-disinfectors are CE-marked (NB no. 2797), fulfil the General Safety and Performance Requirements of Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745 and are compliant with ISO 15883 part 1 and part 4.
User-friendly
Through its user-centric design, the WASSENBURG® WD4200 provides easy access for the user when loading and unloading endoscopes. The spacious chamber enables an unobstructed view of the endoscope and is designed for the connection of larger endoscopes with 7 monitored channels .
The integrated user interface of the WD4200 provides intuitive and easy operation. The user-friendly colour coded connection material and touchless load routine support the user in running a fast and safe process cycle.
A safe and traceable process
Traceability is key to manage and control the endoscope reprocessing operation and is necessary for compliance. With WASSENBURG® Process Reporter all steps of the cleaning and disinfection process in the WASSENBURG® WD4200 are traced and monitored in detail. In one central overview, Process Reporter provides digital insights into the daily operations of the washer-disinfector.
