Wassenburg Medical operates in the medical sector in which many improvements can be achieved on the theme of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Partly stimulated by our stakeholders, we feel involved and responsible as a market party to contribute, where possible, to this important social theme.<\/p>\n
From this starting point, we want to raise awareness of the importance of CSR in our organisation and among our stakeholders. In doing so, we follow Dutch and European legislation and Hoya’s policy plans. This is so that we are able to take our social responsibility together with our stakeholders, and to actively develop and maintain CSR step by step.<\/p>\n
Wassenburg Ltd has committed to a long-term target of achieving net zero by 2040 in-line with HOYA Corporation.<\/p>\n
In practice, this equates to a 90% absolute reduction in Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 2045 from our 2023-24 baseline. The remaining 10% of emissions will be balanced by emissions removals to achieve net zero.<\/p>\n
